Virtual wedding fairs were born out of necessity, due to the current pandemic, but they will continue to be a staple in the wedding fair calendar because they’re time efficient and personable. We’ve heard time and time again from our online visitors that in 20 minutes, they’ve managed to have really decent conversations with all of the suppliers they wanted to talk to and have all the information they need to be able to make a decision.

Our virtual wedding fairs, soon to be running all across the UK, are run using Zoom Communications; a video meeting platform. Visitors have the opportunity to chat 1-2-1 to whichever suppliers they’d like to get more information from. We find out ahead of time which wedding suppliers people want to talk to, which makes the whole process run smoothly.

Exhibitors have been raving about these events, which during lockdown have been a lifeline for keeping wedding suppliers in touch with potential clients, but going forward, they also love the idea of not having to pack everything up into a car to go to a wedding fair and then pack it all up again at the end of the day. For the online wedding fairs, all you need is a nice background or even a virtual one.
